Water for All

Our mission starts with every sip you take.

Thanks to our collaboration with WAMI, with every can of water we serve, we guarantee 100 liters of clean drinking water to communities that still do not have access to this resource, for a positive impact on the planet and its inhabitants.

Each can has a code that allows you to immediately learn about the family involved in our water project. Simply enter the code found on the WAMI product on the website www.wa-mi.org to discover the story of the family that received the water donation.

Where? WAMI is available in our bar and minibars.

This way, every time you purchase a WAMI can, you are contributing to the well-being of the planet and those who inhabit it.

Plastic-Free Commitment
We believe that great goals are also achieved through small actions.
Starting in the summer of 2022, we decided to significantly reduce the use of single-use plastic in our hotel and are committed to achieving a complete ban soon. This commitment will also extend to training and raising awareness among our guests about more responsible plastic consumption and sustainable disposal methods.

We have decided to abandon plastic bottles and, thanks to the WAMI project, we have opted for aluminum packaging for water and soft drinks, the most sustainable solution as it is 100% infinitely recyclable.

Up2You Project
Up2You is an innovative startup that we’ve been collaborating with for several years. How does it work? It’s simple.
As a guest, you can opt out of room cleaning, and we, as the hotel, reward you for your sustainable choice. If you choose not to have your room cleaned for one or more nights, you will be rewarded with the opportunity to support one of our offset projects.

Use the “Do Not Disturb” Hook
We provide a “Do Not Disturb – I’m Saving the Planet” hook in every room. By hanging it on your door, you can opt-out of room cleaning.
The housekeeping staff will see the hook, skip the cleaning, and leave you a note on the bed as a reward. The note will have a code: entering it on the Up2You website ensures we plant a tree, helping the planet!

On the Up2You page, you can track all the environmental results we achieve through our activities and monitor how much CO2 we are neutralizing with a live counter. Isn’t that amazing?

Water Conservation
– All taps are equipped with aerators that ensure a comfortable water flow while limiting the volume of water used.
– Bed linen is changed every three days.
– To reduce the environmental impact of frequent towel washing, only towels left on the floor will be replaced.

Energy Saving
We exclusively use LED or Class A light bulbs, significantly reducing energy consumption due to lighting.
We’ve replaced our appliances (minibars, refrigerators, freezers, computers, dishwashers) with more energy-efficient models.

A Certified Reality – Renewable Energy for a Sustainable Future
Many small actions lead to big achievements.
We are proud to announce that we have fully adopted a sustainable approach regarding electricity use. Over the past four years, we have chosen to use electricity exclusively from renewable sources, significantly reducing the environmental impact of our operations.

Waste Reduction
Where possible, we’ve aimed to reduce food waste by offering smaller portions of buffet items.
In your bathroom, you’ll find only eco-friendly, certified cosmetic products in recyclable containers.
We constantly monitor the waste produced and involve our guests in actions to separate and reduce waste.

Other Initiatives
– All rooms are non-smoking.– We offer a bike rental service, allowing you to explore the Apuan-Versilian coast in a sustainable and free way.
– Engagement of guests in the hotel’s environmental policies.
– Staff training and awareness.
– Use of eco-labeled products.
– Use of local and regional products.
